At Morpholino Therapeutics, we're at the forefront of drug research and development. Our team of experts is constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible and developing new treatments and therapies that can improve patients' quality of life. We have developed a drug to cure many cancers.

Dr. Summerton invented Morpholino Antisense Oligos which revolutionized the modulation of gene expression in the field of development biology. Dr. Summerton's company, Gene-Tools, LLC provides custom Morpholinos to researchers around the world. Dr. Summerton recently started Morpholino Therapeutics, LLC to fulfill his life long goal to cure cancer. His cancer drug, LK-1 is the result of decades of research and experimentation.

As lead scientist, Lena has been instrumental in the development of LK-1. Lena joined Dr. Summerton in June of 2017. She runs the cancer cell biology department that led to the development of LK-1. She continues to validate the efficacy of LK-1 on cancers beyond the 17 already tested. She works side by side with Dr. Summerton on the development of delivery enhanced Morpholinos. 

Dr. Quiroz joined Morpholino Therapeutics in August of 2023. He has been focusing on further optimizing the delivery component of LK-1 and on scaling up the manufacturing of LK-1.

Michael joined Morpholino Therapeutics in January of 2023. He works in the cancer cell biology laboratory assisting Lena in validating LK-1. He conducts several in vitro studies, performs data analysis, and provides assistance to Dr. Summerton when needed.
